The Gang's All Here!

Thanks to my friends who helped me out today, I was able to pick up my in-laws at the airport just as they were claiming their luggage. Perfect timing! And look how happy they are to see their son...

A Birthday Wish

Once upon a time, there was a little girl with a little house...

...but at night, when the wind would blow, she'd have to curl up to keep warm. So, on her first birthday, she wished with all her might for something pink and purple and cuddly (or at least that's what I'm sure she would have said if she could talk that well).

Ta-da! Do you think she'll like them? Her very own monogrammed pillow and matching blanket, just right for her new house.

Living Art

On my way to work this week, I've felt like I was driving through a painting. The lighting has been just soft enough, and the blooming trees have been just pretty enough, that I felt like I was surrounded by strokes of a paintbrush. Maybe an impressionist piece?  Something like this...

Too bad we only get to enjoy this once a year!
