First, I got to have fun on a field trip with my summer-school buddy, Melanie. Thank goodness for her company... she always has lots of fun 'adult' topics to keep us entertained while our little lovelies are doing their thing.
After work and headed down south to meet up with S and L for a sewing date. We finally got to work on our Gathered Clutch Purses, but they turned out to be a bit more complicated than we had anticipated. There are a couple things that I would probably do differently if I were to make another purse, but I'd say my first one turned out cute! Here's my clutch, which I'm going to use to carry the "extra" stuff in my purse.
Looks great! Did you do the wrist strap? Did you do the zipper tabs? I can't tell. You'll have to bestow all your wisdom for mods or interpreting the tutorial. I actually started working on mine again last night after packing. But I couldn't find my fusible interfacing, then my bobbin ran out so I quit! Guess I'll have to wait a week or so. boo. Jealous of your cute one!
