As some of you know, I keep a binder full of DIY projects/crafts that I've come across over the years. Things that I hope to do one day. This particular photo collage is something I've been waiting to do ever since B and I got married back in July 2007. You know what got me up off of my lazy laurels to do this? 3M's invention of picture frame "velcro." While sitting around bored yesterday (and trying to stave off cabin fever) I saw a commercial for this fancy new product. It's just as magical as they'd have you believe! There are no holes to punch in the walls, and if your collage comes out a bit crooked, you can just pull the little bugger off the wall and reposition it! We love it.
Looks great! I have to get some of that stuff. I am like you, I have been trying to get my photo collage up since 2007!
ReplyDeletethat stuff sounds cool. I guess it's got to be pretty strong to hold stuff up. I remember that sticky tack stuff we hung posters w/ in college that would fail and posters would fall down unexpectedly. Your collage looks great. I am inspired! Yet, stuck at home for another day...maybe I'll pick out photos to get printed? Just bite the bullet and order some...for now, working on a new knitting project :-) details to come soon.
