Recipe for Shredded Pork BBQ

For Liz G... :)

1. Spray inside of crock pot with Pam. Place 2 lbs. pork tenderloin in slow cooker.
2. Sprinkle meat with 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder.
3. Add barbecue sauce (16 oz) and 1/2 cup chopped onions.
4. Mix lightly.
5. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours.
6. Remove meat from cooker; shred with two forks.
7. Return meat to slow cooker and toss with barbecue sauce until well coated.
8. Heat through and serve!

Recipe serves 12.

  1. Man, A loves making slow cooked meats. He needs to use his smoker more, but he uses a crock pot thingy that's just for meats [I think it's just a rectangular regular crock pot] but it has a rack for meats and ribs and stuff. He's trying out his own bbq sauces and stuff too.

    ps. your picture is awesome, I like the extra sauce visible in the background :-)

  3. LOL... thanks for the compliments! The food was good, so I'll take credit for that... but all I did was take a picture of the photo in the cookbook (I forgot to take my own shot!) so I can't take credit for the artistic placement of the sauce in the background :-p

  4. Dude, I was TOTALLY impressed by the picture, now I'm sad you didn't take it. Lol. Next time you have to remember to take a picture before eating the delicious food. ;)

    Oh, and the recipe sounds deeelicious!
