The thunder just made my house shake... awesome! Reminds me of summer nights gone-by when I would stand in the garage with my dad, at the edge of the cement, just barely inside, with the doors wide open. We'd watch the storms pass while having the most random conversations.
PS: The roof seems to have been repaired... no leaks (yet)!

I don't get too excited about storms these days. I saw the same skies and decided the kitties and I would watch the weather from the basement :-) I used to do the same thing w/ my parents when I was little, sit on the porch and try and count the seconds until the thunder came. I used to love it. After two tornadoes and one scare, I'm not loving them anymore.
ReplyDeleteGlad your roof seems fixed though!
oh hey, ps. we should do dinner w/ the guys when you are done school to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteYes! Sounds fun :) My last day is the 19th
ReplyDeleteThe date and the clouds say,"Hello Hurricane Season!" from my childhood.
ReplyDeleteNo kidding! Those clouds were fierce. Did you ever have to personally deal with (live through) a hurricane?
ReplyDeleteWow, those are some crazy clouds! Glad nothing too serious came from them. I mean, while I haven't had tooo many close-weather-encounters (just some serious hail (hale?) back in 2002), I'm still always very weary of weather. I was always the scaredy-cat inside the house with the MP most likely peering through the window at you and Daddy standing outside, lol.
